I was in India since only a half day yet, but already my whole life was turned upside down. From the safe and very boring, stressing, colorless ordinary life I suddenly jumped into the unknown, and had more amazing experiences then ever before. [India & West-Tibet 2011] Part 2: Culture shock

After a tormented half day, visiting Raj Ghat was somewhat refreshing. Gandhi always inspired me much, and visiting his memorial reminded me how lucky I am to be here, in this magical country. Chloé, Adam and me sat down on a bench to talk and decide where to go. There was a public water fountain nearby, but I didn’t dare to try and drink from it, even though some locals did. Everyone strongly suggested to not do it unless I want to catch some very nasty illness. Even most of the locals did buy bottled drinking water, and so did we.

I decided to leave my heavy backpack behind for a while, and wash my arms, chest and face, and wet my hat. The heat was unbearable, and I was technically breathing hot steam which felt like it burns my throat and lungs, and I couldn’t escape anywhere from it, but the cold water gave me a few minutes of refreshment. [News] New pages added to the site

I am constantly working on adding the yet missing pages to the website. However many are dependent on each other and on work I have to undertake on other websites such as my art gallery, so it takes lot of time until I can finish all of them. The following pages are now available, though not all are complete yet: Art / Second Life; Activity / Second Life; Projets / [SSD] Starspirit Design. Now I concentrate on finishing up the second blog post on my journey in India.

It’s still hard to believe, in 10 days from now I will be in the faraway India already. Exciting and frightening in the same time. But I know that Denmark was only a preparation, a first stretching of my wings, to say so. But this, this will be real flight now! The first one. The first great gate on the way towards my dreams, my destiny, and myself. This begins everything.

I was standing at the airport, waiting for the check-in for my flight to begin. It was about a year earlier that I decided I go to West-Tibet. After so many struggling, I was so close, just few steps away from starting to live a dream. But I wasn’t there yet – until I step out the airport in Delhi, I can still fail. I must stay calm and prepare for whatever last obstacles I need to fight. I looked up, and saw the check in just began, so I grabbed my backpack and headed there, feeling that as I walk, each step takes me closer to my destiny.

[News] The site is back!

After a long unexpected downtime, the site is back again – but not simply back, it is rebuilt! The cold fact is, that I was unable to pay my domain registration renewal, and my hosting company took it down until I paid it. Also, I will not be able to afford a server hosting anymore, so I have to say goodbye my server.

However, this site is safe – a good friend let me use some space on his server, where I built up this new site from scratch, changing some things so that it will be better than the old one. I copied over the design also with some small changes, and copied all the posts too. The old blog is still there if you type “storm.houyhnhnm.net” instead of just “houyhnhnm.net”, but it will go soon, as my server hosting will be deleted as soon as it expires. I will create some redirection, so people who visit the links pointing to the old posts will be pointed to the same posts on the new site.

Now I still have to finish up some pages in the next few hours, then I finally start working on the first part of the story of my journey in India and West-Tibet, that so many people requested from me, and are waiting for. My apologies for all this, but Life sometimes is a bit complicate… :) Thank you for all your patience! I will then keep up working on the site, adding new pages and content over time, like my artworks, projects, information about my activity in Second Life, and so on – and of course keep posting into the blog!

The design is almost the same, and posts were moved to this new site.  I finish up some pages in a few hours, and start working on the first part of my journey in India and West-Tibet!
